Dear Jennifer,

First of all, it's my opinion that when the K first started, you were
prepared. ;-) K will have It's own ideas about your readiness
and subsequent clearing, believe me! You just don't believe you were
prepared; you were. One year ago, <I> thought I was ready...and the tales I
can tell...!

I've been seeing chiropractors for most of my life. Always had back
problems. But what I find now, after discovering "what's wrong" with me, is
that pains never stay in one place. So then how, if you physically do
specific tasks and exercises, day in and day out, do the various points in
question shift? Ah ...yes!?

My chiropractor is wonderful, the best. However, even tho' he recognizes
"Kundalini," he has no clue. He really doesn't believe that I didn't "do"
various physical things to my body to produce the results I produce. I try
to explain...he helps for the moment. I keep trying to explain...he truly
believes it's a musculature problem with me. "Here: do these exercises."
Yes, the exercises help -- for the moment -- but then the pain returns, in
another area! So when I need "pain help" he always does. I just don't rely
on his assessments of my Kundalini energy.

Also, BTW, you really shouldn't be seeing a chiropractor 3x a week. This is
beyond how much a chiropractor can help you. Once a week, once every two
weeks, maximum. They should give you exercises to strengthen muscles and
they should perform accupressure. Around the time of your monthly period,
they should be able to alleviate muscle tension that causes a lot of lower
back pain. Sometimes a strain in the upper back or shoulders will cause a
spasming in the lower back, but it takes the "right guy" to understand this.
All of my lower back problems have upper back sources.

Personally, I found that massage helped more with K flow than chiropractic,
but I would never give up my chiropractor! I know this sounds strange, but
it is what it is. My chiropractor is a man. Probably one of the most
sensitive men I've met in a long time, however, he doesn't understand my
descriptions of K energy.

As far as the book, perhaps you might want to take a look at "Energies of
Transformation, A Guide to the Kundalini Process," by Bonnie Greenwell, PhD.
A tad scary in parts, but an eye-opener to those who've been passing all of
the "neat stuff" off as perhaps craziness. You go from there. I found the
description of my "knowings" (thoughts appearing from know-where leading to
knowings that occur in an instant) in this book.

Hope this helps.

Welcome to the List!!

Love,
