Jack, thank-you so much for bring up Karma.

Karma may explain the effects of a bad action but it does not tell me which
actions are bad. How can I know which actions produce good Karma versus bad
Karma? What is interesting about this is if there is no absolute marker then
there is no Karma. Karma becomes our own attachment to our own actions
carried over from past lifetimes, not some form of divine balancing for past
wrongs. That doesn't make the effects of Karma less real than the effects of
any other form of attachment. But it means that when we let go of attachment
Karma evaporates.
