Hi guys,
If you want to know about the kabbalah and magic then the source to read is
"The Golden Dawn" by Israel Regardie published by Llewellyn Publications.
This is a much more structured approach then K and has techniques that I
suspect a K person could use, such as the Angelic Tablets and the Enochian
System.
Some years ago this subject came up for a lot of discussion on the old
K-list and the idea that I remember from that time was that K rises up from
below while the Kabbalah energy comes down from above. Mix the two and it
seems you get an intense circulation which one list member at the time said
she had done and was not recommending it to anyone.
I tried and got nowhere but that was par for the course for me at that time.
The basic direction of all the rituals in the Golden Dawn is to lift
consciousness to the level of the gods and goddesses. The form of
gods/goddess used is that of the Egypt hierarchy and the rituals cover
things such as forming a cloud to ensure invisablity or there is a wonderful
Requiem ritual but these are all very English and formal so you could take
the form and use your own words. Unless you have read the book or come
across these rituals before please do not assume you "know" what they are
like, the chances are you would be wrong.
