Dear Percyval, Jane, Ken, Tyrone, Hillary, Belldandy and Chris et al
Thank you for your messages. I had a long chat with my family member today
about the weed thing. It was as I thought (in fact we've had the chat many
times before but not for a while). He said that he is angry, lost and
frustrated. Pissed off with not knowing what he wants or where he should be
heading. He admitted low self esteem and frustration at everyone else
thinking that they know what is good for him. He said that the smoking takes
the edges off. Stop him from feeling his anger so sharply. Nothing to worry
about when he's doped up to the eyeballs. I share digs with him and its a
horrible energy for a sensitive person to be around the whole time. Its time
for me to move on I think and live in a place on my own. I like to be around
people who inspire me, people of like mind and dark moods the whole time are
really draining.
I dont talk from complete ignorance. I did plenty of drugs over a two year
period a few years ago. But it was a faze and when I stopped I never had the
desire to go back and neither did I have any regrets. But he is 33 and has
been toking every day for 17 years. I think the K energy and the buzz of good
health is much more appealing. When you cant see the light its easy to
indulge in the dark.
It's easy to give up any crutch but you have to want to. I was doing the Tony
Robbins 30 day personal power CD course recently and in it he says that the
driving force behind human motivation is the "why" we ascribe to something.
Anything is possible when you give give something a why, purpose or reason.
Without a why its hard to achieve anything.He needs to arrive at his own
"why".
