Actually, you *have* testosterone--just less of it than I do. When you're
feeling aroused, that's partially thanks to testosterone! =8-) Although you
will never know exactly what it is to have male levels of this hormone, just
believe me when I tell you it is really, really strong stuff. =8-o)

Being male, I do not have a large supply of estrogen or progesterone or
prolactin, etc., but I can *understand* what they can do because we too are
powerfully affected by hormones, just not the same ones.

Also, everyone has neurotransmitters, and a lot of us have--or at one time
had--various imbalances that can cause us to feel "out of control" and to do
and think weird things. I was told at one time that I had ADD and
depression. If such a "disorder" as ADD exists, I surely have one of the
worst cases ever. However, there are various things that I have learned to
do to manage the imbalances that are behind these various symptoms.
Cleansing my system, supplementing my nutrition and sometimes using St.
John's Wort certainly helps me a great deal. Exercise helps. Prayer and
meditation help. Working at organizing my thoughts, time, space, etc., help.
And to a certain extent, it helps to accept that although I can smooth out
the peaks and valleys somewhat, I will always be a little more
scatterbrained than other people, because I was born that way. And that such
scatterbrainedness is just the flip side of creativity.

Anyway, my point is that we are all living in bodies that run on "chemical
soup" and that, especially with the typical Western lifestyle, the soup
often goes bad and causes problems. Just about everyone can understand that
in a general way.
