For years, I have thought I didn't really want children. Then I realize I
can't STAND the majority of children. Then I realized that having children
is a huge risk and responsibility, and that my free-wheeling lifestyle would
be unfair to foist upon a child, and would cause major resentment on both
the part of the child and parent. And I'm with a well, man, or woman in male
body who feels the same way. But regardless of his feelings, I myself have
decided to never have children. So I got my tubes tied last August. And
everytime I'm being accosted by strollers in Walmart, I thank the God/dess.
For a while after the surgery, I thought I was going through amenorhea, and
was SOO happy. However, it isn't to be. *sigh* So I think I need to readjust
my attitude towards menstruation, I think.

Well, men can be 'victims' of their hormones too. Have you SEEn what
testosterone can do to otherwise sane men? Ikes!!! I wouldn't want to live
with that kind of aggression that has no positive outlet in our society. I
would MUCH rather put up with PMS, thank you. Because at least people accept
that women get emotional and sometimes chaotic during their cycle. But no
one understands how hard it is to live with excess testosterone. And I
actually do know men who would LOVE to incarnate in a womans body, and
living in male bodies in a male-based society is actually painful for
them...they have my sympathies.
