*sigh* Would returning to a Goddess-based society really be any better? Does
anyone have any proof of this? I mean, maybe patriarchy happened for a
reason. Maybe men felt that they were second-class citizens in these
so-called matriarchal civilizations? As an androgynous spirit, I look
forward to a culture in which the Goddess and the God are finally given
equal footing. And as a person who has 'channeled' the God as well as the
Goddess, I think human society will finally be healed when we embrace the
male and female within. And yes, maybe we do need to temporarily embrace
matriarchy in order to stop feeling 'victimized' by our periods......or
maybe as someone pointed out, maybe we should see PMS as an emotional
clearing and embrace the beauty of it.
