Dear Ken, List,

For me it's a question of how the body responds to fear of the energy or the
desire to control aspects of our lives. If one has an aversion to the whole
idea of surrendering, then obviously the body will tense up, stopping the
flow of energy--making true surrender difficult. I equate surrender, not
with giving up, but as passive none-resistance!
I think the purpose of surrender, aside from relaxing the body, is to come to
the realization that there is nothing we have to do--no fight to
fight--nothing to change. Everything is perfection. All is already under
control. We have already "won."

Love, Hillary
