Hi all,

Actually, when one begins to maintain a solid body-mind connection, cycles ARE something that happens to us......and we DO become the cycles. When one is fully, completely in the body, one becomes a 'victim' of our cycles and our hormones, male or female.......or we can surrender to them and just flow with the cycle. I am a pagan witch, so I am someone who naturally flows with the waxing and waning moons, and with the cycles of the season.........I do notice patterns, and my body becomes passively linked with the cycles of life, nature and hormones. Before my period each month, the K does become very intense in my lower body, as a matter of course.....what with all the fluids waxing in the lower body.....and towards the tail end of my cycle the K tends to spiral throughout the body. So I guess I am a 'passive victim' of my cycles.....or maybe just my body is a passive recipient of the cycles and energy.......whether male or female, I find it best to surrender to the cycles of the body and nature.

A lot of women believe their menstrual cycle to be empowering and have rituals surrounding it.....I'd actually like to learn more about that, as I HAVE always viewed it as kind of an inconvenience.....and yeah, it is sometimes easy to fall into the trap of 'victim' when you have that much pain and hormonal angst.......I just flow with it, pardon the pun, and cry and scream as needed........

>Well, uh, yeah, Belldandy. I'm sure we are the cycle itself. And still, we talk about it happening TO us, because it DOES. Do you have a problem with that?
