Dear Diedra,

Interesting observation! :)) The "voices" or understandings we sometimes
hear, also seem to come from inner as well as outer consciousness. I like
the idea of an inner micro-cosmos as well as a cosmic consciousness which
feels more expansive.

Trauma of all kinds is a common trigger for K activity. Near Death
Experiences (NDE's) as well as fervent prayer can cause K--also abuse and
certain diseases.

It's interesting that some religious practices, such as fasting,
flagellation, and isolation, etc. could be considered self-imposed trauma.
