I, One Man Alone, am he who knows. Thought comes from motivation. Motivation is caused by our personality. Our personality is caused by our environment as we grow up and mature. Our true thoughts are the re-actions to the actions of the world and how life has treated us. Of course, if you mean casual thought like "Maybe I should take a shit!" or "I like this game.", that's just whatever you feel like doing and is only a matter of free will and that patented, super duper, human thought that God gave us to rule the world with. There's your answer from the wise, the intelligent, the always helpful but only gets the bronze in friendliness, One Man Alone.
