Heh. Yes, both. Why not? I got very tired of this kind of attitude,
when I first took over the list. There was an expectation that I could no
longer have opinions and participate as a member, if I was also
owner-moderator... and I foolishly tried to kowtow to expectations. The
list became more of a responsibility, than a pleasure.

Hillary quoted some of the most respected spiritual teachers in the
world, who were also kundalini teachers... and she upheld the guidelines.
She managed to address the thread while keeping her post on topic, and do
her job at the same time.

Quite a feat! I wholly support her action and I am grateful for her
doing it. I also give her and the other moderators my full blessings,
should they decide to put those who persist in breaking the guidelines on
moderated status. They have my blessings, and do not need my permission.
Even if it is me, breaking the guidelines!! :)

Sounds like you are making list participation more important than your
health, and addiction to participation more important than consideration of
your fellow list members and respect for community standards. These are the
hallmarks of addiction. Messed up priorities.

It is the same, macrocosm microcosm. Addiction to oil reserves more
important than human lives. Ego ideas of "activism" more important than
respect for the guidelines. Participation in the list more important than
your health. Goddess is already trying to break your net addiction, but you
are a serious junkie. Me too. :)
What you write, validates what Hillary wrote. You have to resolve the
issues within yourself, first. Clean up your own backyard.

There are a million places on the web to discuss world politics. This
list is not one of them. Posting about war stuff and breaking guidelines is
in no way helping to stop the war, you are kidding yourself if you think it
will. It is self indulgent.

It is simply creating war here as well. If you are so truly devoted to
your activism as to think it more important than your health or respect for
the list guidelines, then leave the library and go to your local senator.
Write to your congressman about it, go visit the websites that are taking
polls. Add them to the search engines. Create another anti-war website and
add it to all the search engines. Go door to door distributing info flyers.
Write a letters to the editors of your local newspapers. Fly to Iraq and
join the human shield. Send donations to the activists. Write to the UN.

I can think of a hundred ways to better support the peace effort, than
posting about it to the K-list. Posting to the list means you can pretend
to be an activist, argue and pat yourself on the back, indulge your net
addiction without actually doing any real activism.

Many list members like myself, are not American voters. GB does not
give care what we think, even less than he cares about what you think.

Then join the digest, and have them presented linearly. Join the
digest, and see how tedious it is to see the same post you already read,
repeated over and over. Visit the archives, check and see what you missed.

>But thank you for your kind character assessment.

:) You are welcome. You know I love you. I know that this sort of
victim story is really not your style, and I hope things get better for
you, soon.
