Rita says: "World saviors saving themselves first? Weeellllll,
let's suppose that one is beyond being saved
oneself... would that mean that it would be futile for
that individual to still try to work for the benefit
of all?"

A questioner once asked Maharshi, "Gandhiji [Mahatma Gandhi] is often
perplexed
finding his intimate disciples going wrong. He wonders how it could happen
and thinks that it is due to his own defects. Is it so? "
Maharshi is said to have smiled and answered after a few minutes, "Gandhiji
has struggled so long to perfect himself. All others will be right in due
course."
