I disagree. Peace and war are just two more opposites. They exist within ourselves. Wanting peace for oneself and peace for the world are two different arenas. It's still
wanting
something. It is still desiring something. It is still
lusting after the things of the world to happen the way we
want them to happen for our sakes. It is greed. It is
avarice. It is a certain way we want people to think about
us and the way we are. It's just another PR campaign to
give the impression that we care deeply about others... and makes me wonder? What does that have to do with me?
Me... you say? Me? What an egotistical crappy attitude. You make me sick! How could you not care? What kind of person are you? You ought to be more like me. I care! I care deeply. There's a few of us around that are more sensitive than you clodhoppers who seem to want to let the world go it's own way. After all, I am a good person because I care. And that makes you an asshole if you don't!
Really! I am this and that... and you're not! I rally to the rabblerouser's call to action at the drop of a green hat and storm the White House and call them despicable
things to show I care about others to the degree that I am willing to suffer the fate of martydom while you sit around twiddling yo' thumbs.
Don't you know what's going own? Some other people have
answered another rabblerouser's call and are doing
despicable things in a very uncontrolled manner, so WE have to do something to oppose them! We must have a WAR on WAR! That's just the way it IS!
I can't help myself. Sorry if I'm breaking your
rules, but this is important. I know it's important because it's been all over the news. DON'T YOU WATCH TELEVISION??? Don't you know what THEY say is going on?
