I see you are student of the philosophies:^)

Philosophy attempts to use language, particularly metaphor, to describe a particular idea. If the thing that is trying to be described is not an idea, philosophy falls short.

From the philisophical Critical Thinking/Logic point of view you are correct. (took the courses, got the T-shirt)

This is not a matter of logic. It is beyond the ability of the thinking mind to conceive. It must be experienced to be understood. Pre-conceived notions of how the thinking process is "supposed" to work must be set aside in order that a greater understanding/awareness may impose itself on your reality. It is not a difference in magnitude, but a difference in type.

Just thinking that "you are the rock" does not make it so. When you have experienced "rockness" then you will know you are the rock. Unfortuneately our language has not come up with words sufficient to the description of "rockness". When you experience the state that is being discussed here as Non-Dual thinking, (which is really only a part of the experience) then it is possible to understand. When many people have experienced this, then perhaps the language will develop new syntax to match.

States of mind may be described by language; I humbly adjure you to describe a state of being or, for that matter, a color.

Sincerely,
Jason B
