Well, the way I understand it is that you go hang out in the ethers for a while where your every thought is made instantly manifest. If you are aware enough of your awareness, you use this ability to manifest a paradise around you. If you are not aware enough, all your random thoughts are manifested--good, bad or indifferent. This is the nature of the astral body and the astral plane--the first level of awareness beyond the body. But there are many more beyond this.

Right now in this life, I'm not really doing much, I'm trying to be an author, I'm

>writing and thinking. The problem is whatever I do to get though doesn't matter. I could end up writing a million best sellers, but that won't matter. I can't help feeling that if I don't do something terribly important with my life, that it's been worthless this whole damn time. But I actually feel like I WILL do something terribly important and it's pissing me off that I just have to wait around to find out what or even IF.

OK, look at the best case scenario, look at the worst case scenario. Best case: What if you write 20 novels containing a wealth of wisdom. Your novels help people be happy, find their own place in the universe, and ultimately make the world a better place. What happens then?

Worst case scenario: You spend the rest of your life wondering what it is you are supposed be doing and wind up getting nothing done at all. What then?

Now imagine several scenarios between these two ends of the spectrum...What then?

The idea that we have some "purpose" to fulfill here other than a joyful existence in which we develop our awareness as fully as we are consiously capable is an attachment set up by the ego to keep you from realizing your fullest potential. This is how the ego keeps itself enthroned in your mind.

Let go your need to "do". Develop your ability to "be". When this is fully developed then will be able to clearly see what you need to "do". When you can see that each passing second is absolutely perfect, then you are in harmony and you will know how to act in harmony.

This is reflected in the Bible when Master Jesus said, "Seek ye first the Kingdom of Heaven and then all things will be added to you."

Besides that, what about AFTER I die? Does God have an eternal purpose planned

>for everyone? I know we have Heaven waiting for us to live in peace for eternity, but that would get boring after a couple thousand years or so. Knowing that the story never ends is kind of scary.

Well, you'll probably get bored hanging out in the ethers after a while and decide to come back and pretend to be a mortal again just to have something to do. You can choose to "forget" your divine nature and play the karma game again. Or you can return as a bhoditsava and help others along the spiritual path.

For my part, this is only heresay. After reading dozens of books and spending a few years studying this is the reality I've pieced together in my mind. It works for me. I cannot swear to it's precise accuracy. But it is also said:

"As a man believeth in his heart,
So is he"

<snip>

>What I'm hoping is that Kundalini will eventually lead me to a real reason to live. I hoping that I will get a reason to live which will be for like another 80 friggin' years. So, am I just ranting or is this bothering other people? I mean I'm not exactly 110% normal. I have a few problems. But do I have a point?

What is "normal"?

Love in Each Moment,
Jason B
