I once wanted to help my mum who carries a lot of pain and is forever
catching colds and chest infections as well as living through other
deteriorative diseases. I asked for guidance in this and was told to leave
well alone. Bringing new ideas or ways into someone very solidly set in
certain ideas and ways would no doubt disrupt their life further and is ill
advised. Better to let her live out the rest of her days as she is. She
would learn all the lessons she needed to learn when she moved on.
