From the responses I've seen so far to the Guidelines poll, the majority of
members would prefer that we stick to the topic of Kundalini and avoid
digressions into off-topic subjects. The subject matter in the posts can
span the spectrum from completely on-topic to completely off-topic. There
are posts at either extreme that can easily be determined to be appropriate
or inappropriate, and there are those that fall into the middle and require
a judgement call. For the most part, the moderators do a pretty good job in
making the right determination.

So, what's the point of speculating about the moderator's inner motives? As
long as they're objective and don't stoop to ad hominem attacks and insults,
who cares? It's irrelevant.

I tend to be direct and I respect people who are that way to me. I avoid
sugar-coating and politically correctness, which only serve to obfuscate
meaning, but I'm never intentionally cruel. Yet, just like the critical
remarks from the moderators, people sometimes misinterpret my motive and
take it personally. Well, I've come to the conclusion that that's often
unavoidable. If I get my message across, that's what counts. If they think
I'm an asshole, well, too bad. That's their projection not my intent.
