Hi Ken,

How very pedantic of you. ;-)

Sure, if Gregor had been raised in a society where
individuality was considered to be the trait of an upstart
to be squashed like a bug, speaking in the first person
might seem rude. But, to a more realized person who has
reached the understanding that everything they perceive is a
projection of themselves, and those projections exist as the
illusion of the temple veil... speaking in the first person
might exist as a modest and humble way to address the world,
and the very goal of enlightenment.

Gregor, finding out that you are a person in your own right
can seem a terrifying experience. To learn that you are
responsible for the world you have created yo' very self,
and that you are the only one who can do anything about who
you have been taught to think you are, can seem an
overwhelming state of affairs.

But "when the moon shines over the mountain, I'll be waiting
at the ka.. ka.. ka..... kitchen door." ;-)
