many folks in the ME/CFS ( aka CFIDS, Chronic Fatidue Immune Deficiency
Syndrome) community believe that Fibromyalgia is the same disease, only
expressing in symptoms that are more painful and with less emphasis on
fatigue... i consider this to be most likely true... and that it's likely
that the illness i have, Chronic Lyme Disease, is a also form of this
syndrome, although perhaps it has been set off by slightly different
trigger...

i'm completely amazed by how much more prevalent this condition is among
K-active folks, as compared with the general public...

while it seems like a lousy trade-off in many ways... this illness can also
seem to be a gift, in that allows one to retreat from many of the common
commercial and social responsibilities of our culture, to focus on our inner
processing... so many previously over-active folks seemed to come down with
this illness, that during the 1980's, it was disparagingly nicknamed the
"yuppie flu"...
