Hi Sylvia
I dont know what pain is for but I can tell you what purpose pain has served
for me.
The pain I suffered with my back has certainly led me down my path.
Its also contributed to an increased awareness of my body and the
relationship between my body and my emotions.
I dont know if pain has made me more alert but it has made me more aware of
myself.
Pain has made me appreciate lack of pain.
Pain has often felt pleasurable.
If not making me more alert, it has alerted me to a need to attend to
somethign within myself.
Thanks for giving me the opportunity to think about that because youve just
increased my appreciation of my pain.
LoveandLight
Charles
