Thanks. I enjoy reading your posts as well, and appreciate your insights
and knowledge.

Yes, I figured I was taking liberties with your closing the door analogy,
but a good analogy works on many levels. :)

I remember that when I was experiencing K. psychosis, all I wanted was to
remain in good ol' boring mundane reality. From my own experience and from
reading about the experiences of others (expecially Gopi Krisha), I believe
the source of anxiety is ego attachment. The problem is, it takes time for
the ego to surrender, and I don't think you can rush the process. However,
I do recall certain quantum leaps, events like, reading the books "Be Hear
Now" and "Autobiography of a Yogi", starting to meditate, etc., where I
became suddenly more relaxed, accepting, and able to cope.

This is precisely why I got back into Zen. I sense that bliss and
transcendental awareness are our true nature, our essence, but what's the
point of having a physical body if all you want to do is transcend it, and
how does it help others if you're constantly in that state?
