Greetings everyone,

I adore the Myers Briggs types. I first found out about this information about 5 years ago. I purchased a book called "Do what you are". I wept for joy when I realized that there was a reason for my being so different. I found out that I am an INFP. Now that I have past the 50 year mark I find that I am becoming more ENFP like. Which means that I am an introvert who loves to talk. <grin>

Loves to communicate
Claressa

>I missed the thread of this discussion as I only joined the list a couple of days ago but I assume you are talking about the Myers Briggs test.
>I thought it was a load of old balony and was very resistant to doing the test. I idnt like the idea of being put in a box and defined. But my brother went on and on about it and read Kiersey's book "Please Understand Me" repeatedly with such fascination that I could resist no longer. I completed the questionaire and found myself to be an INFP and as much as I didnt appreciate many of the qualitites the book describes for this personality type, I couldnt argue with its accuracy. Incidentally, I have discovered that a large amount of people who do personal development / self help courses tend to be NF's. Its very interesting to see that when you are describing the nature and benefits of these courses to people other than NF's, they just aren't interested. It's the idealists who are drawn to this kind of work like magnets to iron filings.

>>ENFP - is anyone keeping a tally to confirm how similar we all are?! Most seem to be NF at least.
