of kundalini for me -- by far -- has been learning how to not resist
unpleasant mental states. They are inevitable, they come with the
transformation, and resisting them or labelling them negatively or feeling
that they are somehow a spiritual failure only prolongs their stay. In my
case, it is clearly ego that dislikes them, and the more ego goes to the back
of the room and takes a rest, the less difference there is between an
unpleasant mental state and a pleasant one. One is always only "here" and
there is no need to be anywhere else. Holly
