Thank you so much. I have heard of these darkness retreats. That is
fascinating info and I'll look into it more. There is a Tibetan
Buddhist retreat in my area called Ringzingling and I have heard they
do this retreat there. I'll let you know what I find out.

When I was 13 a friend's mother had a sensory deprivation box.
Inside it was absolutely dark, soundproof and padded. I loved it. I
only got to be in there for half an hour at most but I never wanted
to leave. There was something so freeing about it.

Brain chemistry is fascinating isn't it?
