Hi, Shelle, in studying Feng Shui while living in the west, there has
often arisen the question of how to translate some of the 'site
specific' guidelines, guidelines specific to China, the birthplace of
Feng Shui. One such guideline is to 'build a house in such a way to
shelter it from the yellow winds blowing in from Mongolia'; I have
always presumed the yellow winds to be dust-laden winds... and have
detected perhaps a bit of prejudice towards some particular
neighbors. Who knows - perhaps those old Feng Shui masters knew more
than they let on as regards the direction whence their vibrational
disturbances came.
