Hi

I've just come home from a session with my therapist, and I'm absolutely
fuming still! I told her about the birth of my Divine Child and my joy, and
all she wanted to do was question me and try to fill me with doubt "out of
concern for me." I find it so rich coming from a therapist trained in
transpersonal psychotherapy - the whole point of the exercise is to get the
client to self-realisation. Perhaps she was pissed off she wasn't the only
one involved (though I have always acknowledged her part in the process).
However, I felt like I was being pathologised for expressing joy at being
free from the trappings of my past and knowing and feeling my Divine
heritage.

Is this what happens? You try to share your state with people, and they
don't want to hear it or they try to destroy it in the name of concern?
That's bullshit. What about sharing in someone's joy? How about letting
people be who they are? How about believing them? Perhaps that's why
people carefully guard themselves and choose to live on the top of a
mountain rather than be in the world. People would prefer to make you
believe you're ill rather than accept you as you really are. I shouldn't
have to defend myself. It's fucked up. At least I don't buy her
projections anymore. That's my saving grace.
