for the one

who fears neither death

nor life...

(least so thy faded soul whispered)Despite the illusion
time so depicts

there is a grand difference
between surrendering the unreal

and

burrowing into it
like a maggot
to escape it...

And further furthermore,

Truth is subtler
than the faintest sense
detected,

softer than an invisible feather
stroked gently by thine imagined ear.

It can swallow without a sound

or tickle
and equally spit back up
like a parasite vomiting ...
