I look into the night sky
 My eyes see
a poem
so lovely
the naked tree
 
 Framed against the milky sky
I look up and wonder...
Why?
Earlier...
I did not see
 the poem...
So lovely...
The praying tree
 
 Leaves have fallen
Dark, cold
Winter is calling
Filigree so Delicate
Branches so Intricate
A multitude of lacy fingers
reaching high
seeking Mother Earth...
the sky..the moon...the stars
 
 Maybe it was
Because
 the shining stars
and the moon
and the mystic rainbow
round the moon
captured me
in clair de lune
 
 Shadows now...the stars
Hide behind the mystic cloud cover
 So silky
So smooth
Soothes Me
Stars still twinkle, sparkle
 Behind the naked tree
I just can't see
