On 2002/11/10 21:28, lionessbleu1 posted thus to the K-list: Never said I make more money when patients die. I said when people
suffer that is when I make money and so do you. Western health care
is only rewarded when suffering and disease is prolonged.

I can't afford to give it away for free. Can you? You are holding
spiritual healers to a double standard that physical healers are
never held to. No one can cure someone. Only the individual can cure
their self.

There is no difference between the realm of the physical and the
realm of the spiritual. To look at life from the uppermost
chakras...all is the same. There is no duality, there is no
separation between body and spirit. You can't treat one without
affecting the other. That is what the difficulty is with allopathic
medicine. It doesn't treat the whole person.

It interesting to note out of all the points I brought up you zero
on seeing only me making money from death which I never said. It is
the oncologists who makes money at keeping death away from the door.

I do too but it is not so in my face as those who practice oncology
nursing. My speciality is medical surgical cardiac nursing. I am in
charge on the day shift of a 40 bed telemetry floor. Seeing death
from my perspective is bit more clean than the messy, tragic,
prolonged tortuous death that can happen on an oncology floor.

So what is happening in your life that causes you to become single
pointed in your view that spiritual healers should not charge?

This is one of the repeat themes that cycles through the list at
least once a year. If you search the archives you will find many
eloquent and also dumb discussions of the morality of charging for
healing.

Personally, I have already answered the question for myself. I have
worked with enough oncologists since '85 to know that some carry
great anguish for the suffering they cause to cure a patient of a
terminal disease. They either allow themselves to become emotionally
dead or they open up to a higher way of living for themselves.
Obviously there is some issue here for you that has come up. Why not
search your own self about the question and let us know your
reasoning other than you don't like it.
