Hi Harsha/Lobster:
Long time no hear from you two, shadows of each other,
light/dark/light/dark/
Cool to see you both posting after absence.
And I see others who have not posted here for a while, or post on
other lists.

Samhain is a sunny day here, cool and bright. I just read up on its
symbolism from the link from melissaga. Very cool. I lived in Ireland
for 14 years. Lived beside and walked past ancient Celtic places
worship places there, rings that chilled to the bone with their
vibration. Shadow/vibration-ice.

I'm writing a novel about the old ways that were carried across
Europe from the depths of Eurasia by the Celts and held hidden; the
path to mastery that bubbles through legends and time, and surfaces
now in rock music, folk music, the greatest story ever sung. But it's
not in the singing, it's in the being, with the songs sung to tell
the path. The Celtic genes run in my veins. I have a Welsh great
grandmother. There's something to be said for the Celts. Artistic,
cruel, holy, musicians, harpists, warriors of great acclaim.

Samhain for me is the Occams edge between the last days of ego summer
and the dark night of the soul reclamation of the shadow.
