This is kind of a coincidence that Joyce's DB is named Anand and
Mystress has a DB/Shadow teacher named Armand, I think? I myself have
a spirit who shows up in dreams and meditation and trance. I am not
quite sure yet if he's my DB or part of my unconcscious psyche, but I
suspect he is 'cause he usually shows up during some spiritual crisis
that precedes a new understanding. At this point I can't facilitate a
clear dialogue with this spirit because I can't silence my mind
enough to listen properly. Anyhow, the funny thing is that I wound up
calling this potential DB Ammon. Anyone else have a DB with a similar
name? Assuming mine is DB or Shadow, of course. What's also
synchronistic is that 3 days later I was reading Ovid's Metmorphoses
and came across references to Ammon-Jupiter and Ammon-Bacchus. And
all these names correspond to the aum sound. Pretty cool, huh?
