Who told you this?! Rachael's post was excellent. I'll only add that as you
awaken, you'll find that you love the whole universe as much as you now love
your son, your kitties, your family and everybody else. You'll love it all
just as it is (this is what detachment is about) and you'll love you just as
you are, too -- even if you're having a horrible day. You will see
everything as part of yourself. You will have gotten bigger and bigger until
you are infinite and you adore the Cosmos as if it were your child. All you
have to do is let the love you already have expand until you are not even a
person loving anymore, you are love itself. Nothing becomes trivial in
awakening. Just the opposite: everything becomes incomprehensibly loaded
with mystery and meaning.
