Yogananda writes about him. I called on him once, when India started
testing nukes, because he is considered the patron Saint of India.. so to
speak...
He did not manifest physically, but was present enough. He was cranky
at being disturbed.. or pretended to be. Watching my reaction. I did not
get the youthful babaji either, this one was a middle aged monk... I think
he was shaven.

I explained my purpose in calling him, asked him to intervene with India
testing nuclear warheads... he listened, and reminded me, that it is all
Maya. That was very grounding, like a breath of peace... but I am stubborn,
so I called to his compassion. Asking for his help for the many who did not
know it was maya, and would suffer. He smiled at this, and there was so
much love in his eyes, it made me dizzy. His energy gave me a kind of hug,
like a pat on the head for a good child, and with a twinkle in his eye, he
left.

His message was very clear, and I have not called on him again. I don't
need to, I already know what he would say, and he would be right. The
memory of those three loving whacks at my ego with his Zen master's cane is
humbling, and grounding... and humbling.. did I say humbling? and awesome.
I was totally outclassed. So I'll not be indulging drama enough to think of
calling on a Master to save the world for me, again... ouch ouch ouch thank
you Babaji.

Muktananda was a disciple of Babaji... the real Babaji is an immortal
being, hundreds of years old and barely physical. However, Babaji is a very
common Indian name.
Blessings..
