Greetings All,

Following up, as promised, for those interested in the Kriya Process....

This weekend was a once draining and energizing. Billy started by giving a
lot of information on how the Kriya process works. It was pretty detailed,
but I can boil it down a bit. Basically it works like a scrub brush in the
inside the sushumna and the Ida and Pingala nadis. Once you have the EKOM
(see the previous post on Kriya) energy flowing you condense it inside the
spine and flow it up and down from the top of the head to the coccyx.

We started by doing the EKOM excercise. When we had energized ourselves to
the best of our abilities, Billy came to each of us, one at a time, and put
his hands on our heads and stepped us through the process allowing us to feel
what each stage felt like under his guidance. He would guide the energy for
us the first time and then hand the control back and just observe as we did
the practice ourselves.

It felt like hot (but not too hot) water running up and down inside the
spine. Billy explained that this is where somas form when we have thoughts
that do not serve our highest good. Whether we generate them or they come
from some one else doesn't matter, if we hold these thoughts they form a
soma. Somas can manifest as demons, angels, monsters, or just thoughts. The
ego really likes to hold on to these things because they disempower the
higher self in favor of seeing the physical body as all there is. He
described them as "black specks" lodged in the sushumna. Kriya washes these
"specks" out. Eventually, (with daily practice, 6-8 months) the specks are
gone and the energy flows freely.

After the initiation, the other person and I returned to our hotel rooms and
quickly fell asleep for about 3 hours. Both of us woke up EXTREMELY hungry.
So we went to the Pancake House and had a huge breakfast at about 10 pm.
Food never tasted so good.

The next day we had a six hour ride back to Austin where we had time to
discuss in detail what each of us felt. The sensations were nearly identical
for both of us.

I hope you find this information helpful. If you have questions, I'll be
happy to try and answer them.

Peace,

Jason B
