I feel very validated by your response, Angelique. This experience has
helped me regain courage, a fighting spirit and belief in me.

Something more happened on Saturday night which I found amazing. As I was
lying in bed, the nerves in my stomach (the organ) started to come alive,
very slowly. I felt elated by this, as my stomach area has felt numb for as
long as I can remember. My liver was also making the strangest sounds, like
it was spewing out lots of junk. My intestines chimed in with a few sounds
of their own, too. I felt a few pains in my back, but nothing unbearable.
When I woke up, the top of my abdomen felt full, and it felt alive. Like Rip
Van Winkle, it had just woken up from a long sleep. How great is that?

I love this process.
