Dear Sabrina, List,
 
It certainly seems to be an archetype.  I've had experiences with a similar  
"character" on occasion.  I call it the jokester--don't know if it's the same  
as what you experience.  There is a quality of seriousness instead of  
playfulness.  And there is a curious  literal mindedness as well!  :))  It  
certainly is a strange one.  
 
Anyone else had run-ins with him?
