This is good news. At least it explains my personal experiences.
The backs of my hands, for instance, are beginning to look
'scaly'. Initially I thought this was due to switching to a
very concentrated, anti-bacterial soap, but now I know different.
And just the other day, I saw a maggot on the sidewalk and the
first thought that popped into my mind was, 'Ketchup'.
Furthermore, as soon I am done typing this email I am going to
give in to this curious urge to bask in the soothing rays of my
new heat lamp and shed skin...
