Hety,

Yes, I can validate that ability from my own knowledge. It is a recognised
Kundalini symptom.

[Background: I stayed with my teachers' teacher for one year (1987) in
India, to study Yoga in breadth and depth. This was just after finishing
my UK-based postgraduate degree in Mathematical Logic. At some point the
discussion came to Sanskrit.]

Sanskrit is referred to as Devanagari. Deva = God. Nagari = City. That
is, Sanskrit is a language spoken in the "City of the Gods". The Sanskrit
alphabet has 50 consonants and 20 vowels, which can be combined to produce
over 1000 composite (consonant+vowel) characters. My grand-teacher stated
that in deep meditation a practitioner of Yoga (= Yogi) will start speaking
completely naturally in Sanskrit. This is not an easy process. Having
mastered morals, ethics, body, breath, and mind, a Yogi would sit in deep
meditation for long periods of time. At some point, regardless of previous
knowledge, the Yogi would verbalise pure Sanskrit, often in the form of
poetry.
