I was drawn to it first in 1989
it resonated so clearly
it sparked
a powerful phase of awakening.

I'm drawn to it again now.
I don't know why.
The time is right
and I am ripe.

Makes sense actually.
The Course seems to mirror
the Holiness within
for many people.
(for those so inlined for it's presentation)

In the context of ACIM
perception is not Knowledge.

"Perception has no function in God and does not exist."
(Lesson 43)

Perception is the false idol of Knowledge.
It's what kundalini purifies or undoes
so that awareness of Knowledge may be restored
to our awareness.

Perception masks Knowledge.
Kundalini transforms perception's
purpose of masking Knowledge
to the holy purpose
of revealing It...

It is true that without Kundalini/Grace
we would forever be forgetful
of God
(which is our essential nature).

However, some 'effort' is required
on our behalf.

Call it vigilance
or committment
to being willing
to receive Knowledge.

The last 'step', however
can not taken by us.
(or more accurately, the ego-self
we've confused ourself to be).

That 'last step' is taken by Grace.

Our personal understanding
goes stale.
It may useful for a little while,
but after a while it must be thrown out...

also thought that the more I read (in books) the more I would
understand. Not so! I'm learning to ask the questions and wait for
the answers because the next answer will lead to the next question. I
guess I'm finally learning to have a bit of patience. ;-) IOW, I'm
letting the Spirit/Kundalini steer rather than trying to force the
> direction myself.

That 'letting'
is the willingless to surrender.

It can easily turn into
coma-consciousness
or it's opposite state;
too much ego meddling.

The function of Life here in the world
is being aware of the subtle difference...
