I'm curious: Why did you go back to reading ACIM? When I decided to put the discussion group together I actually had no idea what ACIM was really about. The Spirit seemed to move me to it and believe me, it was a lot of work to organize the event, without understanding the full ramifications or philosophy of The Course. Two people within the group, who said they felt compelled to join, didn't have any idea either.

Yes. This is a subject I've been thinking about quite a bit lately. However, my interpretation is that perception is a process by which we interpret and categorize information as knowledge. My understanding is that knowledge is meaningless <because> it is derived from our personal perceptions. We can strive and strive for "knowledge" of God, but without the Spirit/Kundalini/Grace we will remain in the darkness -- or asleep. Which is basically what you're saying?

For quite a while there I couldn't understand why most people can't "see" or understand the same things I am beginning to understand. I also thought that the more I read (in books) the more I would understand. Not so! I'm learning to ask the questions and wait for the answers because the next answer will lead to the next question. I guess I'm finally learning to have a bit of patience. ;-) IOW, I'm letting the Spirit/Kundalini steer rather than trying to force the direction myself.

As the ACIM discussion group grows in members the more, inevitably, I'll learn myself. Perhaps this is what the Kundalini/Holy Spirit had planned all along! (Anyone in the Espanola, NM area is welcome to participate, BTW. Please e-mail me.)

Love,

Hety
