Got a couple of issues, well it boils down to a couple, with your post.

While not in any way saying anything against Ramana Maharshi most folks
don't really lift things up to the "scriptual" level while people who
actually hung out with the writer are still walking around in the physical
body. The person's works just haven't stood the test of time unitl they've
been dead awhile, no matter how good they may sound at the moment or how
great a person the writer may have been thought to be or have been.

I realize that may sound rough, especially to those who are looking to buy
into instant everything. It would mean had I been there back then, I would
not have been a Christian (before Rome screwed that religion up really
badly). It also means I've never been involved with the likes of Jim Jones
either.

Second and more specific: Why didn't you use the existing English
translation of 'Upadesa Undhiyar' also known as 'Upadesa Sarah'? Why did you
feel the need to do it yourself? Could it be one of the Swamis of Ramana
Maharshi's order doesn't translate it and explain it the way you want it to
be? That is a reasonable question.

To be blunt given your history of making up "facts" and finding "scriptural"
sources that don't exist to support your position you'd have done better to
use something that could be checked. I can understand your reluctance since
the one time I did check your reference it didn't exist, not on a particular
page but anywhere in that 900+ page book you said contained it.
