Babaji is described by Yoganananda in "Autobiography of a Yogi". He
describes him as young looking, but I suppose a being at that level of
awareness could choose to appear as any thing he chose.

Babaji's title is "Mahavatar" meaning (more or less) "The Highest
Attainment".
