Hi Hillary,
Before answering the questions, I wanted to thank you for the time and
generosity you offer this list. It's easy to sense that your heart
genuinely shines through all over what you do.
1. Did you have a spontaneous awakening, or was it "planned"?
In my case it was a gradual process punctuated by events that can
appear more significant although I believe that the more calm periods
provide strength and just as much growth. So in case it may be of any
help amyway, I'll try to cut through my story as much as I can cause it
has been a lifetime process of nearly 33 yrs. As a very young child, I
was already being prepared, some work was being done and I was strongly
guided ; at age 4 the process got it's first little push with the help
of an invisible friend: A powerful, warm and loving huge hand touched
the top of my head and for a couple of weeks or so I was in a sort of
extremely happy/blissfull state ; at 8 yrs old my first real strong
premonition dream braught me a very strong knowledge about death, was
tough but insightful and I started knowing more about what this gift was
about ; around age 13 my perception was still enlarging tremendously and
by 15, I was exploring just about all that you can imagine (always
making sure to keep my heart open and leading the ball to stay clean) ;
at 19 I learned about K as it was starting to get really active in a
gradual crescendo till a point where at 24 it was overwhelming yet
exciting and during that year I experienced total surrender to
creator/one who revealed my soul/whatever ; at 25 I asked for a break
and it was allowed, I wanted to go through some stuff as a "normal"
human being without "spiritual priviledges" (not that I believe it
really leaves us...but I needed to pretend...) ; since almost two years
I've been "back in town" big time and my acquired experience is allowing
me to just go with the flow totally from now on.
2. What do you think triggered your awakening?
Hard to answer so see above.
a. Was an "eastern" technique involved? (i.e. meditation, yoga,
chanting, etc.) and if so which one?
During the process, all of these techniques where involved (and
still are).
b. Was a strong emotion involved? Love? Fear? Pain? Despair? and if so
was prayer involved?
During the process, all of these emotions were experienced and I did
turn to prayer. Still do.
c. Do you think heredity is implicated?
There seems to be a predisposition in my case. Dunno if it's cause
we're of spiritual family to start off with though. My mother has always
been very intuitive and open minded with a tendency to paranormal
experiences and my mother's father had a tendency to paranormal
experiences as well (once in synchronicity with me).
d. Did you have a NDE?
No.
