Subject: [K-list] Introducing myself-- and a ? on feet

Hi Everyone,

My name is Patti and I have been on this list before once or twice for a
few months at a time. Both times I signed off either for time or because
the energy was getting to me, too intense.

Anyway, to get current.... I was awakened 17 years ago, via a disciple of
Muktananda. Very powerful, full body, near death experience, reborn as a
walk-in....took a while to figure all of this out, of course. I had no idea
at the time what was going on.

I have jjust moved to Las Vegas and was a little lonely and rejoined this
list! I am wanting K energy bigtime, like for kinship.

I have delighted to read about the polls..... I read some of them on the
Gateway page, and they were uncanny, we have so much in common, as k
people.

For me I think I am growing up. I was born again 17 years ago, and like a
kid, was both innocent and a brat. I am mellowing out with time, learning
to mature, be more compassionate, and so on. The energy seemed dormant for
a while but seems to have come back strongly. It never left, I think it
just wanted time for me to grow up a little so I could handle the increase.
It is not the rocket-ship - hell's - (or heaven's) - on - fire stuff of the
beginning, but more the subtle stuff. My sensitivity to the outer world is
immense.

I wish I could turn it down. I am not depressed, thank goodness, but am an
"over-feeler". I can feel music, energy, people, whether I want to or not.
I love the quiet of my own house, I love people too, and people usually
really love me, too, but I have a hard time dealing with mine and other
people's emotional issues. I need lots of alone time for processing.

I teach a form of "expanded orgasm" and have written a book about it. I
teach strictly as a spiritual practice. Oh yes, it's a lot of fun too and a
neat way to let go into the bigger ocean of awareness.

Okay, here's a question. One thing I have noticed over the last 17 years,
is a sensitivity to shoes. I am a perfect size 7 but over time I can hardly
ever find a pair of shoes that fit. Something feels hard. Or rubs me wrong.
Or tight.... etc. I used to fit any pair of shoes, cheap or expensive. Now
I have to recondition shoes that are ten and fifteen years old!

I thought I was unique but I told a k-friend and he said he had the very
same issue. So I am wondering if others have noticed this.
I also like all my clothes very soft and loose, otherwise I feel
constrained. I want to move!

Well, it's nice checking back in. I've been here a week and it's been fun
and healing for me to connect with this k-family. Thank you all for your
wonderful sharing. Mystress, I especially enjoyed your comments on
Muktananda and the second chakra, and also your Chinese curse.
