Hillary doesn't need a "K Master" to continue on her path and progress at her
own rate.

I am *very* sure that I don't need one.

Joe, your post has the ring of truth in the sense that there are forces
competing for our individual attention, both inside and out. There are needs to
be fulfilled, and the subconscious plays a role. The point where I digress with
your opinion is where you suggest listening to an intercessor instead of your
own inner self.

Effectively, you are suggesting we hire a consultant. In specific
circumstances, where other approaches are not working, perhaps this is the right
thing to do. I certainly would consider the help of a specialist in dealing
with similar situations in other areas of my life.

But (in my irreverent and fundamentally arrogant opinion) gurus are like
consultants. They tend to be tremendously egocentric and protective of their
own secret sauce. They tend to believe their own PR, akin to smoking what they
sell. They frequently come up short on results, long on timelines, and very,
very heavy on the budget.

Why? IMO, because once they stopped being a person and started being a "guru",
the growth stopped as the marketing began. It's not limited to spiritual people
either...management gurus, technical gurus, etc...all the same story.

So I am very skeptical of someone telling me how to grow my Kundalini
experience, and I encourage people to be likewise skeptical. I prefer to think
for myself first, and ask for advice and assistance once I've had a chance to
get the view of the landscape.

As with all things, tho....YMMV. Joe, all I can say is if a guru is what works
for you...have at it. But it's not the only way, and stating it as fact in your
posts doesn't make it so.

Opinions are like assholes. Everyone's got one, and they all stink.
