I cannot agree more. More soup for Kundalites...anyone got bread?Steve's Wonderful Advice on Surviving a Kundalini Awakening, Part 1
-----------------

(1) The K energy knows what it's doing. When it opens the door, walk through
without hesitation. Fighting K is like urinating on a forest fire. While
you're pissing around thinking you're helping, the whole place is getting
charred. And most likely you'll get your curlies melted off as well.(2) Don't try to rationalize K. From the data you are getting through your
senses, there will be lots of gaps. Our human minds try to fill in those gaps
with information based on our own 4-dimensional experiences, which lack the
necessary depth to connect all the dots. The result is that we think we know
how to "work the K", when all we really know is that we've created a system of
thoughtforms. The only thing K knows is its own nature, and we are a miniscule
part of that nature. Hard for a grain of sand to know the beach, you know?(3) IMO, K people are like capacitors. We have this voltage inside us, passing
through us. Consider: capacitors react differently to AC and DC current.

(3a) When we are "all blocked up" the energy builds in one place until the
"breakdown voltage" is reached, and then it spills all over and is very
uncomfortable. DC current acts this way with a capacitor, and the capacitors
really hate it.

(3b) When we are open and accepting, the energy is allowed to go through its
natural rhythms, which are like AC current. We become the conduit, not the
receptacle, and by doing so don't get the shock. We can also take a lot more
current this way before burning up.

(3c) K is not only electric, it's hungry too. It finds all those places we've
been hiding our fear, anger, resentment, pain -- the icky stuff -- and eats it
with wild abandon. The end result -- stuff is gone. We frequently make stuff
up to go in its place, even tho we don't have to. And that gets eaten too, with
equally wild abandon. Eventually, with any luck, we figure out it's easier not
to put more stuff there.(4) It bears repeating -- everyone comes along at their own pace. Never judge
your own K awakening according to someone else's benchmarks. And that includes
systems that have been around a long time. And yes, I am THAT irreverent about
tradition. Traditions are useful as guides, but they make terrible masters. If
anyone wants to have a spirited debate of tradition vs. irreverence, they can
trade examples with me off-list.(5) It also bears repeating that our perspectives are decidedly skewed to
whatever makes us the most comfortable. Perspective is a double-edged sword:
every time we think we have it, inevitably we realize there is more to the
picture. K forces us to open to a wider perspective, yet it pushes us into
deeper waters. It sets us free, but it also leaves us floating. The nearest
solid stuff is down, down, down below.

It pays to have perspective, but don't be surprised to find all your efforts to
maintain perspective shattered like soap bubbles. Better, then, to celebrate
new learning with respect for the old (and the focus on the present), than to
spend all one's time mourning that which has passed.YMMV,
