Thank you very much for this information. I have really learnt about this.

However, in Saivism, the awareness must gradually cease from the lower
centres under the guidance of a Guru
before further progress to the higher centers should be attempted.

You can see this in the following sayings of Sri Sivaya Subramuniya Swami
observes in Page 666-67 of His Revealed Scriptural Text 'Merging with
Siva',

Citation 1:
"With the spiritual will aroused, awareness flows quite naturally into the
'Anahata (4th) chakra',
the heart centre, governing the faculties of direct cognition or
comprehension...
...he is able to encompass the totality in one instantaneous flash of
direct cognition.
and yet would find it difficult to verbalize that vast knowing....
People with the 'Anahata chakra' awakened...subtle refinement of their
nature makes them extremely intuitive,
and what is left of the base instincts and emotions is easily resolved
through their powers of intellect.

It is important that the serious aspirant gains enough control of his
forces and karmas to remain balanced at the heart centre.
This should be home base to him, and he should rarely or never fall below
'Anahata' in consciosuness.
Only after years of sadhana and transmutation of sexual fluids can this be
attained,
but it must be attained and awareness must settle here firmly before further
enlightenment is sought."

Citation 2:
Page 685-86 of His Revealed Scriptural Text 'Merging with Siva' says,
"If they (householders and all who have not properly prepared themselves)
are prone to anger, jealousy, contempt and retaliation,
(the attributes of the seven centres below the 'Muladhara') they should
abstain from any of the yogas of japa or exploratory meditation.
These will only only intensify and prananize the lower chakras that give
rise to demonic forces...
Brahmadvara, the door to the seven chakras below the 'Muladhara', will
then be sealed off
as their experiential patterns settle into the traditional perspective of
how life should be and each individual should behave within it."
