Well how about take on his 'junk' for yourself, and give him your peace?
Make a substitution, you get his darkness, he gets your light. Let the K
then deal with the darkness.

Maybe that's what you have been doing without realizing it. It's called
'love.'

This was the essence of Christ's mission. A being of light who chose the
cross so that others could be enlightened.

Or in Buddhist terms, the sravakas and pratyekabuddhas are content to simply
abide in their own peace and happiness, while the bodhisattvas forsake
nirvana so that others might be liberated.
