Okay, I got curious and thought I'd ask a few questions.
Since I was guided to this place in order to learn, I
thought the best way to begin learning is to ask questions.
I haven't really had any major questions before now, but
for some strange reason, two big ones popped into my head
this evening as I read through the list emails.
1> Someone mentioned that their K awakened about the same
time as someone else's did. So, I wondered if K awakenings
were completely personal and tied only to the individual
soul/spirit, OR, can K awakenings be also related to major
events/changes in our world and/or universe?2> I have a great love of semi-precious gemstones. My
draw toward them began when I was in college and met an
eccentric and beautiful spirit named Linda. She was a
major catalyst for an incredible change in my life, my
mindset, and my beliefs. She had many beliefs and ideas
about life and spirituality and magickal energies. One
of them was the belief that stones carry a magickal
energy of their own, as does everything natural in our
world.
She had quite a collection of stones and I recall
her talking about chakras one day and the enhancing effect
gemstones can have on them. Well, I had never heard of a
chakra before (in my mind, i envisioned "shockra" every
time she said the strange word *giggle*), much less the
thought that rocks could have power.
She produced a necklace made up of small polished lapis
lazuli stones hand-strung on some sort of string or cord.
She placed the strand of stones on top of my head and
left to answer the phone. I sat there, feeling like an
idiot, but I was also very curious as I have always been
about things of this nature. After a few minutes, I
began to get a very powerful headache. I promptly
removed them from my head and the pain began to fade
away.
In any case, I've been drawn toward gemstones ever since.
I would love to know of some websites that discuss the
power of gemstones.
My question, after dragging you all through a long story,
is this. Do any of you share my love for and belief in
this magickal property or energy in stones? If so, how
do you use them either in daily life or to enhance K?
